Biography of Earle Wigham
Earle Wigham, bar
manager, was born in St Paul, Minn., in 1935 and moved
to California with his family in 1949. He is a graduate
of Sequoia High School of Redwood City, and enlisted in
the U.S. Navy in 1952, retiring with 31 years of
service.
He went to work for
Santa Clara County in 1986, spending two years with the
Santa Clara County Sheriff’s Office and the 13 years
with the Roads and Airports Department, retiring in 2000
as Reid-Hillview Airport’s operations manager.
He accepted the Post of
West Valley Memory Post 99’s bar manager in November
2000, his current position. He is married to the former
Antonia Liarte, of Valencia, Spain. They have one
daughter, Yolanda, a graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy
in 1994 who currently resides in Maryland.
Earle has two sons and a
daughter from a previous marriage and can count a total
of eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
